About Us

Connection is all around us.  Some of it we understand.  Much of it we do not.

Social Research and Education Group was created with the goal of helping people better understand connection.

  • Connection between people and other people.

  • Connection between groups of people.

  • Connection between ideas, beliefs, values, principles, and emotions and the impact each can have on people, relationships, education, productivity, and so forth.

  • Connection between social realities such as circumstances and human experiences such as health or learning.

  • Connection between limitations and decisions.

  • Connections between situations and struggles.

  • And the list goes on.

Social Research and Education Group is comprised of professionals from a range of disciplines.  What draws us together is a desire to both better understand and help others better understand the connections all around us.

Let Social Research and Education Group help you explore connection.  Whatever that connection may be.

What is “Social Research and
Education Group”?

Social
Unlike some research and education organizations, we focus on all things social.

We wish to learn and teach about - in other words we want to explore -
connections involving people.

Research
One way that we can explore connection is through research.

We wish to support you in creating, conducting, reviewing, and understanding
the connections around you.

And
A word connecting (see what we did there?) two or more ideas.

Education
Another way that we can explore connection is through education.  This might mean organizing events, teaching courses or workshops, conducting program evaluation, or any number of
other approaches meant to help increase understanding of social connections.

We wish to support you in designing, delivering, and evaluating, educational endeavours
to help you and others make sense of connections.

Group
We are researchers, educators, academics, clinicians, professionals, parents, siblings,
neighbours, and so on.  In other words, we are people living in networks of connection.

We are also people who want to understand - and help others likewise understand - connection.
